FLEXSEALS® 163 is an asbestos-free gasketing sheet made of compressed organic fibre, with NBR/SBR binders, designed for a wide range of applications in the petrochemical, chemical and industrial sectors, as well as in industries requiring specific sealing solutions.
Chemical and thermal resistance: This type of flat gasket is widely used in all industrial applications involving contact with most chemicals, oils and gases at moderate temperatures and low pressures.
Excellent workability: easy to die-cut and CNC-cut, ensuring precision even for complex geometries.
Temperature and pressure resistance: Flat gaskets made of compressed asbestos-free fibres, are suitable to withstand to moderate temperatures and pressures, as well as offering good chemical resistance.
Operating temperature: up to +140°C depending on fluid type, pressure and applied load.
